What we claim, how it works, and what we cannot yet prove.
Trust is easier to keep than to rebuild. This page explains our funding model in plain language, links the underlying documents, and states openly where information is still being finalized.
The “100% to communities” claim
When we say 100% of contributed funds reach the communities we support, we mean that contributions are allocated to program costs: facilitator support, learning, and seed capital.
Our administration is not paid from contributions. It is covered by volunteer and founder-contributed time, in-kind professional support, and any dedicated non-contribution funding. Payment-processing fees charged by our external platform are a separate cost, shown to you at checkout by that provider.
This wording is reviewed against our accounts each year. If the model changes, the claim changes with it.
Governance
Community Evolution is directed by a named board and a small working team based in Vancouver, British Columbia, working alongside country partners who lead delivery.
- Funding decisions are made against a community-written enterprise plan.
- Ownership of every funded enterprise stays with the community.
- Founder involvement is disclosed, including on the payment platform.
