Stories & field updates

Current evidence from the communities we fund.

We publish field updates on a recurring rhythm: what changed, who was involved, what it cost, and what is still unresolved. Where a number has not been verified, we say so instead of estimating.

A micro-loan fund the members run themselves

First-person accounts from members of a women-led group describe borrowing small amounts for materials, repaying into the shared fund, and passing the capital on to the next borrower. The fund is administered locally, with the facilitator supporting record-keeping rather than approving loans.

River Select: a $25,000 grant and a matching need

Community Evolution contributed a $25,000 grant to River Select, a community-connected fishery enterprise in British Columbia. A defined matching-support need remains open; we publish the amount and purpose rather than a general appeal.

Artisan groups moving from craft to enterprise

Andean artisan groups are consolidating production, agreeing shared pricing, and negotiating larger orders as a collective rather than as individual sellers.

Publishing rhythm

Our commitment is a dated update from at least one partner community each quarter. If an update is delayed, we will say why rather than leave the page silent.
